Women in Islam

It is the existence of the woman that gives the universe its colors:

When this world was created Almighty Allah sent the sacred couple of Adam and Eve on this earth, and after them the complete ecosystem established. The main task of Adam and Eve was to teach human being the methods that how one should spend life. In actual the sacredcouple teaches the ethics and moralities to human being. Allah called them a complete couple and told them to be with each other in all of the times whether happy or sad. The main aim of discussing the story of Adam and Eve is to explain the importance of the woman. When Hazrat Adam (a.s) and Hazrat Hawawere sent on the land they were sent with the couple of animals, birds and insects. This means that Allah has created the female gender in all of His creations. The female gender is equally important as male and how can women be inferior when she belongs to the most superior creation of Allah.
Between a relationship of men and women Islam has given a certain position of honor, respect and dignity to women. In past that is before Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (saww) women were treated so brutally and when any baby girl use to born all Arabs use to bury them and use to think that girl is the sign of disrespect and cowardice. But when Holy Prophet (saww) was born he actually defined the rights of women. He titled the girl as the sign of blessing and asked Muslims to respect and love the girls. In hadiths it is mentioned that whoever nourish their girls in the best way I Muhammad (saww) will give the surety of the Jannah to the parents and moreover in world the parents will get many kind of blessings. Islam is the only religion which is very liberal and it gives the complete rights to the women. In fact Islam is the unique religion which has appointed a particular status to women and specifically on Islam gives these rights and no other religion in world gives this much right to women.
In Holy Quran it is repeatedly said that women is equal to men and she should be treated the same way as men. Holy Prophet said that “a woman is a flower and she should not be overburdened”. Even in life hereafter women would be treated like men and in Quran it is mentioned that “both men and women will treated equally on the Day of Judgment and no one will be given a favor on the name gender”.  But unfortunately the concept of the women rights in Islam is misunderstood even after the 1400 years of Islam still people wrongly interpret the women’s right. Even in this modern world when any girl wants to marry according to her will she is killed on the name of dignity especially in the subcontinent and Arab countries this practice is so common.  Before 1950s in Europe women were not allowed to work like men when in the 2nd world war many men died then the allegations was removed. But the saddening thing is that women are divided under the banner of race and religions like in the modern Christianity rules women are not obliged to cover their heads so women in European countries have become so called modern. Whereas is Islam women must cover their heads especially in the gathering of men to whom they don’t have legal relations. If you do some research you will find that in early centuries women of other religions use to be very ethical and decent but unluckily the world has completely changed.
Now the women are the sign of showoff and showpiece they usually becomes the brand ambassador of many products and they use as model. All these things are strictly prohibited in the religion Islam but tragicallynowadays many Muslim families have become part of these unethical activities. Islam is the religion which gives the right of getting education of women, in Hadith it is mentioned that all men and women should gain education. There is no condition in Islam that women cannot gain education but still many families do not send their girls to school as they think that only Islamic education is discussed in the Hadith.
Allah has given the best status that is of mother to women, it is said by Holy Prophet (saww) that your mothers have ten times higher status and right than your father you should treat her with the respect. So it is very clear that God loves those who treat all the women with the great honor. Men and women are equal but they have assigned several tasks and both should not interfere with each other until or unless it is necessary.

Islamic history is full of wonder full ladies like Lady Khadija; she was the first wife of Holy Prophet and before getting married to Muhammad Mustafa (saww) she use to run the huge business of trading and she was the richest lady of her time. So it is clear that there is no harm if women works but she should take care of religious values. The women rights are irrespective of the sects, these days number of sects in Islam have been created but all sects of Islam treat equally the woman. When any womenmarries any men all of her maintenance is the responsibility of men and even the expenses of weddings are the responsibility of the men but now every Muslim have taken influence of Hindus and the family of man demands number of things in form dowry which is really bad thing. Heartbreaking thing is that many girls are unable to marry because their parents do not have enough money to arrange the expenses of the wedding. If all of the Muslims follow strictly Islam many things can be changed and no doubt world will lead to success, peace and prosperity moreover by following Islam all Muslims can stand against the evil powers of disbelievers

Ramadan-An Introduction

Ramadan is the most celebrated of all Islamic months. It is the 9th month in the Islamic calendar. Muslims throughout the world fast during Ramadan. After the month is over, Muslims celebrate the festival of Eid. During Ramadan special prayers are offered in night which is called Taraweeh in the mosques.

The Islamic Calendar is a lunar calendar. It is based on Pre-Islamic Arabic calendar. The name of the month are as follows: Muharram is the first month, Safar, Rabi-ul-Awwal, Rabi-us-Sani, Jamadi-ul-Awwal, Jamadi-us-Sani, Rajab, Sha'ban, Ramadan, Shawwal, Zul-qa'da, Zul-Hajj. Ramadan is the last ninth month in the Islamic calendar. In pre-Islamic Arabia, not people but the people would keep their horses without food for some days. This would happen in the summer months of the year. Thus the horses would fast during these days.

When Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) propagated the teaching of Islam. The fasts were made compulsory for the Muslims. The order of keeping fasts is mentioned in the second chapter of the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Baqarah. The Jews and Christians also fast during some days. Similarly, the concept of fasting is found in almost all religions of the world. That is why the verse of the Surah Al-Baqarah says, 'The fast has been made circumpolar on you as they were made circumpolar on the people before you.'

During this month, the Muslims fast from pre-dawn to sunset. The fast begins from pre-dawn and then throughout the day Muslims avoid drinking, eating and sexual relation. As the sun sets, the call of prayers is given which is indication of breaking the fast. The Muslims prepare special meals for the break-fast. Different food items specially prepared for Ramadan are served in break-fast. The whole atmosphere is full of happiness and blessings.

During night special prayers are offered in the mosques which is called Taraweeh. Besides this, Muslims recite the Holy Quran more often than usual. Charity is given as the reward for each act of charity is increased in the month of Ramadan. Visit Here for More Information on Subject.
